Who we are

Falls Water Fun Guide (the "Site") is operated by The Marchand family, based in Etobicoke, Ontario · notes from Niagara Falls. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect on the Site, why we collect it, how we protect it, and what your rights are. We comply with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). Where applicable, we also respect requests consistent with the EU/UK GDPR.

Scope

This Policy applies only to the editorial Site at https://great-wolf-day-pass.online. It does not apply to third-party websites, resort operators, booking engines, or payment processors that you may use after you leave the Site. We do not sell tickets and we never collect payment-card data on these pages.

What we collect

Contact form / email. If you use the contact form or email [email protected], we receive your name, email address and message, plus the time you sent it. We use this information only to reply to you.

Server logs. Our hosting server keeps standard access logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user-agent) for security and debugging. These logs are rotated regularly and are not shared with third parties for marketing.

Cookies. We set one strictly-necessary cookie called fw_ack when you dismiss the cookie notice, so it stays dismissed on subsequent visits. It contains no personal data. We do not set advertising, analytics, or cross-site tracking cookies on editorial pages.

What we do not collect

We do not ask for payment-card data, government identification, precise GPS location, or account passwords. We do not run a customer login. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. We do not operate a checkout. We do not sell, rent, or lease your personal information to anyone.

How we use it

We use the information you provide via the contact form only to reply to your message. Server logs are used only to keep the Site working and secure. Nothing on this Site drives an advertising audience.

How long we keep it

Contact messages are kept in our personal inbox for as long as the conversation is active, and typically deleted or archived within twelve months of the last reply. Server access logs are retained for up to ninety days and then rotated out.

Third parties

We do not currently embed third-party analytics, advertising networks, or social widgets on editorial pages. If we ever add a service that collects data on your device (for example a comments plugin), we will update this Policy and label it clearly.

International visitors, including from the EU and UK

The Site is operated from Canada. If you access the Site from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or elsewhere, your information will be processed in Canada, which is recognized as providing an adequate level of data protection. You have rights of access, correction, deletion, and objection with respect to your personal information; to exercise them, contact us at [email protected].

Advertising and referrals

Some visitors reach the Site through paid search advertising. We disclose this on every page (see the header and footer) so it is clear that a visitor arriving from an advertisement is landing on an independent guide, not on the official website of any resort we mention.

Children

The Site is written for adults planning family trips. It is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please email us and we will delete it.

Security

We use current TLS encryption for all pages and limit administrative access to the Site to a small number of accounts protected by strong passwords and two-factor authentication.

Changes to this Policy

If we change this Policy we will update the effective date at the top of the page and, for meaningful changes, add a short summary at the top of the page for at least thirty days.

Editorial notice

Nothing on the Site is an offer to sell a ticket, a fare table, or a live timetable. Hours, closures, and operating decisions change without notice — always confirm them with the official resort. We never process payments.
