About us
Who is behind this guide
Last updated: September 2026
We're the Marchand family from Etobicoke — two parents, two kids (currently ten and four), and a very patient set of grandparents who come along for the winter trips. Since 2021 we have taken more than twenty family days at indoor waterparks in and around Niagara Falls, in every season the calendar offers.
This site exists because friends kept asking the same questions before their own trips. When is it quiet. Do we need to book. What do we bring. Is it worth going with a toddler. Is one park better than another. It got a little silly to write the same paragraph again every time, and so we started keeping notes. In 2021 the notes were a shared document. By 2022 the notes were long enough to be a small site. Here we are.
Everything on these pages is a personal opinion. We do not run a business, we do not sell tickets, and we do not represent any of the resorts we mention. If we say a park worked for our family, that is what we mean — nothing broader. Other families with different kids and different priorities will have different afternoons. That is normal.
We keep a paper notebook in the car. After each trip we write three things down: what the wait times were like, what our smaller one did or didn't try that day, and whether we packed anything useless. That is the editorial standard. If a page here starts reading like a brochure, we've stopped writing from the notebook.
If you would like to write to us, use the contact page. We answer within a few days. Please do not send booking information or private data — we cannot help with that and we will delete it. Anything else, we're happy to hear.
